The airline has 15 concentration cities and functions over 4,000 flights every day. 
Southwest doesn’t utilize the "hub and spoke" method of additional big airlines, preferring rather the "point-to-point" system with attention cities.  It’s large operations in certain airports. An average of 80 percent of Southwest passengers are neighborhood passengers– just 20 percent of passengers are connecting passengers. But, at Southwest’s concentration cities, the proportion of linking passengers could reach 30 percent.  As a part of its attempt to control prices, Southwest occasionally uses secondary offices in towns with high expenses.

Throughout Southwest’s purchase of AirTran Airways, Southwest opened an attention town in Atlanta and obtained additional slots in Washington–National and New York–LaGuardia. Additionally, Southwest added support to the next destinations.
